SEBI has debarred NDTV promoters Radhika Roy (managing director) and Pranay Roy (chairman) from the securities market for two years and compelled them to pay illegal gains accounting to Rs 16.97 crore which was earned through insider trading for more than twelve years. SEBI has also barred seven individuals and entities from the stock market for one to two years. All the entities have violated Prohibition of Insider Trading (PIT) Regulations, SEBI said in three separate orders passed late on Friday.
