Sector 36 trailer released; Vikrant Massey to play a serial killer

On Thursday, the much-awaited trailer for Sector 36, which stars Deepak Dobriyal and Vikrant Massey, was released. Vikrant Massey leaves the audience awstruck in a role that has never been seen before. He plays a serial killer, and his performance is guaranteed to shock viewers.

The trailer goes like this: officers are seen eventually making their way to Vikrant’s house but discovering nothing. Vikrant discloses he has a six-year-old daughter in his hometown when he questions the police about having a daughter. Later on, he kidnaps the daughter of the police inspector during an event, which heightens the police’s efforts to find out what really happened and save her. In the last moments of the teaser, Vikrant is being questioned. He is assured, unwavering, and says he will respond to any enquiries. This terrifying study is sure to enthral viewers with its compelling plot and endearing characters.

The movie stars Vikrant Massey, Deepak Dobriyal, Akash Khurana, Darshan Jariwala, Baharul Islam, and Ipshita Chakraborty Singh. Editing for the Bodhayan Roychaudhury-written film was done by A. Sreekar Prasad, while photography is by Saurabh Goswami. The movie with its thrilling yet scary story will surely keep the audience hooked.

Talking about his character, Vikrant Massey says, “Slipping into Prem’s skin for this movie was a bit different from all that I have taken on till now. It is challenging to convincingly portray a layered and terrifying killer who could easily take up the garb of just another person.”

He speaks highly of Aditya Nimbalkar for detailing out the film’s raw world piece by piece and says, “The collaboration with Netflix and Maddock Films has been extremely rewarding, and I look forward to such storytelling being given its due by audiences.” Sector 36 will release on Netflix on September 13, 2024.
