The security outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s residence has been intensified following the shocking killing of senior NCP leader Baba Siddique. Siddique was brutally shot dead by three assailants on Saturday, October 12, sending shockwaves across the internet. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for the killing, leading Mumbai Police to take extra precautions, especially near Khan’s Galaxy Apartments in Bandra.
In a video shared by ANI, multiple police personnel were seen stationed outside the actor’s house. A source revealed that “appropriate measures are being taken” to ensure safety amidst the rising tensions.
Siddique’s murder had an immediate impact on Khan, who reportedly halted the shoot of Bigg Boss 18 as soon as the news broke. The visibly shaken actor rushed to Lilavati Hospital to be with Siddique’s grieving family. The two had shared a close bond over the years, making this loss deeply personal for the actor.
Meanwhile, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang took to Facebook to claim responsibility for the killing, stating that Siddique’s ties with underworld figures Dawood Ibrahim and Anuj Thapan were a key reason for the assassination.
The gang also issued a veiled threat to Salman Khan, referencing the actor’s past run-ins with them.Baba Siddique’s funeral is set to take place today, October 13, at 7 pm as confirmed by his son, Zeeshan Siddique.
