Amidst the raging flames, the engaged couple was spotted unpacking cardboard boxes filled with essential food items, including cans and edibles, to help those on the front lines.
Gomez shared the experience on her Instagram story, expressing her gratitude to the brave men and women working tirelessly to fight the fires and evacuate people from high-risk areas. Blanco also posted on social media, showcasing a truck loaded with food, fruits, and drinks from brands like SuperGoop, Prime, and CELSIUS energy drinks. He thanked the companies for their contributions, writing, “Thank you so much guys.”
Blanco also shared a photo of the California Forestry and Fire Protection Department staff and paid tribute to first responders, the National Guard, and firefighters, calling them “superheroes.” He continued by encouraging other companies to contribute, writing, “We are doing more drops!!! Any companies that want to donate pls DM me!!! Thank you again to all the companies that showed up.”
The wildfires, which have been raging for over a week, have affected several areas in Southern California, including Malibu, Topanga, and Santa Monica. The flames have caused widespread destruction, leaving many, including celebrities, displaced or having lost their homes. Among the victims are Adam Brody and Leighton Meester, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, Anna Faris, Ricky Lake, Joshua Jackson, and Cameron Mathison. The fires have also led to delays in award ceremonies, further highlighting the extensive impact of the disaster.
