Selena Gomez had an unforgettable night at this year’s Golden Globes, making waves with not one, but two major nominations! The multi-talented singer and actress earned nominations for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Emilia Pérez and Best Actress for her role in Only Murders in the Building.
During a fun chat on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kimmel asked Gomez which cast table she sat with at the awards. Since the tables were separated, Gomez explained she was torn between the two. But instead of choosing, she went to both tables! She laughed and said there’s “photographic evidence” to prove it. “Everybody was normal,” she shared, adding that she loved celebrating with her Only Murders family while also honoring her Emilia Pérez cast.
On top of the nominations, Gomez showed off her engagement to her music producer boyfriend Benny Blanco, wearing a stunning diamond ring at the ceremony. The ring paired perfectly with her gorgeous custom Prada gown in sky-blue silk, featuring a chic apron skirt detail. Her old Hollywood-inspired look was completed with a short, elegant hairstyle and a chunky diamond necklace from Tiffany & Co.
While she didn’t win in either of her categories, Gomez was overjoyed when her Emilia Pérez co-star Zoe Saldana took home the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture. Jean Smart also claimed the win for Best Actress in a TV series for Hacks, making it a night full of exciting moments for Selena and her peers!
