Gomez, known for her roles in Monte Carlo and Only Murders in the Building, reshared the statement on her Instagram story, assuring fans that new dates for the event will be announced soon.

The official statement read:

“We are devastated to see the impact the wildfires continue to have on our community in Los Angeles.”

It continued:

“The safety and well-being of our team and community are top priorities, and with that in mind, we have decided to postpone Rare: The Pop-Up in partnership with Complex. We’ll share more details and rescheduled dates for the event soon. Thank you for your understanding.”

Originally scheduled for January 10-12, the pop-up event was set to celebrate Rare, an album that debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and remains one of Gomez’s most personal projects.

Gomez’s team also acknowledged the severity of the wildfires, stating:
