Serie A, the first division league of Italy, is the first football league in the world to offer NFT for the much-awaited Coppa Italia final between Juventus and Atalanta that will take place in the Mapei Stadium. The NFT will be issued for the final by Serie A in partnership with Crypto.com. Their partnership began in the first week of May and they will be the official sponsors of the 2021 Coppa Italia final between Atalanta and Juventus,

Serie A chief Luigi De Siervo said that this deal is the first of a kind for a football League, this is new in the market and is extremely innovative and relevant. De Siervo said that through this partnership, he wants to promote Serie A internationally and expand the global fan base that was around 1 billion viewers during the last season. He also said that this final will offer millions of fans around the world an exciting experience not only on the pitch but also before and after the game, thanks to many commercial and marketing initiatives that will organize with our partners.
The final will be played on May 19th, Juventus are the most successful club in this tournament but their recent form has not been good and they are outside the Champions League spot for next season.
