Sergio Ramos confirmed that he is not joining his former club Sevilla and made a full stop to the rumours related to the transfer. The Spaniard also said that joining Barcelona for him is impossible and he can never be seen playing at that club which is a rival of Real Madrid.
“I am not joining Sevilla because it was never an option and joining Barcelona is impossible. You will never see me at Barca. I have no idea about the club I will be joining yet. The time I know, I will announce it. This is not the time to talk about my future,” said Ramos in the farewell press conference with Real Madrid.

Ramos emerged through Spanish football youth academy Sevilla for two seasons and in the summer of 2005, he joined another Spanish giant laliga club Real Madrid for €27 million during Florentino Perez’s presidency. He was assigned with number 4 at the club which was previously worn by Fernando Hierro.
After spending 16 years with the Los Blancos, the defender decided to depart from the club. “I never thought this moment will come, but everything has a beginning and an end”, tweeted Ramos.
