Superstar Shah Rukh Khan sent a powerful message on social media and celebrated Republic Day with great zeal. He exhorted everyone to make a commitment to creating an India that future generations may proudly inherit.

Shah Rukh shared a photo of himself saluting the Indian tricolour on Sunday to commemorate Republic Day. The Bollywood celebrity is seen in the picture wearing a modest yet stylish white t-shirt, radiating humility and patriotism. As he salutes the tricolour, his gaze remains focused on the flag.

Shah Rukh shared on his Instagram, “This Republic Day, let’s promise ourselves to contribute to an India that we can proudly pass on to the generations to come,” Shah Rukh wrote on social media. Let’s uphold the values of the Constitution and hold our heads high with pride. Happy Republic Day and Jai Hind.”

Suhana Khan co-stars in Shah Rukh’s upcoming movie, King, which he is currently working on. The actor revealed information about the eagerly awaited movie last year while addressing the 77th Locarno Film Festival. “I need to start working on the next movie I’m doing, King, lose a little weight, and stretch,” he continued. King, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan, was rumoured to be directed by Siddharth Anand rather than Sujoy Ghosh.

According to a Pinkvilla story, the film’s preparations have been going on for the past six months, and it is scheduled to begin production in March 2025 and have a worldwide release in 2026.
