Shanaya Kapoor, the daughter of Sanjay Kapoor and Maheep Kapoor, is about to make her acting debut. Her next films are Vrushabha and Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan.
According to earlier reports, Shanaya and Abhay Verma, who is famous from Munjya, will work together on a film directed by Shujaat Saudagar, who also directed Rock On 2. It has since been revealed that the two will start filming the movie in March.
A recent report in Filmfare claims that Shanaya Kapoor and Abhay Verma have been cast in Shujaat Saudagar’s new film and that filming will soon begin. The portal’s source disclosed that the young actors had already started preparing for the film and were presently attending pre-shoot workshops.
The source shared information about the shooting schedule and location, stating, “Their shooting schedule will begin in the first week of March. The film is going to be shot in Goa.” The source also said that the film is expected to be a unique romantic film for viewers.
Regarding their other projects, Santosh Singh’s Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, which will be Shanaya Kapoor’s Bollywood debut and feature her on screen alongside Vikrant Massey, is a romantic drama that centres on the love between two visually impaired characters. As per Pinkvilla, the film’s India schedule was completed in January 2025.
In the meantime, Pinkvilla also revealed that Abhay Verma, who was highly praised for his performance in the 2024 horror comedy Munjya, has joined Shah Rukh Khan’s King, an action thriller directed by Siddharth Anand of Pathaan, in which Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan will play important roles.
