In the third-round match of men’s singles, Sharath Kamal lost the first set by 7-11. During this, Chinese players dominated Sharath Kamal. On the other hand, Sharath Kamal made a comeback in the second set, using his experience in this game, Kamal won the second set by 11-8. At the end of the second set, Sharath Kamal and the Chinese players were 1-1 each. However, after winning the second set, India’s Sharath Kamal lost the third set.

However, in the third set, Sharath Kamal gave a tough challenge to MA Long of China. Despite this, Chinese player Ma Long took a good lead on Sharath Kamal and the India player lost the third set by 13-11. Then, Ma Long defeated Kamal 11-4 in the fourth and fifth sets. And with this India’s Sharath Kamal has been ruled out of the Tokyo Olympics after losing to China’s Ma Long in the third round of table tennis. Ma Long of China defeated Sharath by 7-11, 11-8, 11-13, 4-11, 4-11.
