Shweta Tiwari reveals how she tracked Palak’s phone and made her do chores for extra money

Shweta Tiwari reveals she maintained discipline in daughter Palak Tiwari’s life by tracking her phone and assigning paid household chores for overspending.

Actor Shweta Tiwari recently opened up about her parenting style, saying that while she was never a strict mother, she did set clear rules for her daughter Palak Tiwari. In a conversation with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa on their YouTube channel Bharti TV, Tiwari described their relationship as friendly but grounded in discipline.

“I wasn’t strict, but there were some rules,” she said, adding that punctuality was non-negotiable. “If she said she’d return by 1 am, she had to be home by 1, not leave the party at 1.”

Tiwari admitted to tracking Palak’s phone for safety reasons. “I was a little scared that she is a girl and the society is weird. Even though she doesn’t drink, people around her did,” she said. According to the actor, Palak got her first phone only after joining college, and makeup was off-limits until age 16. “She used to go without makeup to school functions,” she recalled.

Tiwari also spoke about how she taught Palak the value of money. “She was given a budget. For instance, I allowed her to spend ₹25,000 and if she went from ₹25,000 to ₹30,000, she knew that she would be asked to do household chores to compensate for it,” she said. “For cleaning her bathroom, she would get ₹1,000, ₹500 for making the bed, and ₹1,000 for doing the dishes.”
