Actor Siddharth Nigam has shared that he is currently taking a break from television, but not walking away from it entirely. In a recent conversation with Hindustan Times, he clarified that he has not quit TV but is waiting for something truly exciting to come his way. The 24-year-old actor explained that his current focus is on building a career in Bollywood and working on bigger, more ambitious projects.
While he has often been identified with television, Siddharth said that being labelled a “TV actor” does not bother him. He believes his work speaks for itself and added that if audiences have discovered him through television or social media, it only proves he is on the right path. He also expressed deep respect for the medium that helped shape his early career.
Reflecting on past struggles, Siddharth shared that there was a phase when his family had to shift into a small rented flat in Mumbai due to financial pressure. Without any industry backing or support, they had to make tough decisions to keep going. He described that time as a real test of perseverance behind the glamour of showbiz.
Addressing long-standing dating rumours involving his former co-stars, Siddharth said he values privacy and prefers to keep his personal life to himself. He clarified that he has never been in a relationship with either Avneet Kaur or Anushka Sen, despite constant speculation. Fans often build narratives based on onscreen chemistry, but he explained that those relationships have always remained professional and friendly. Siddharth added that while he does believe in love, he would choose to keep it private if and when it happens. He also stated that he has never used personal gossip for attention or publicity, as that is not the kind of image he wants to build.
