Simone Inzaghi signs as Inter Milan for the upcoming season

Simone Inghazi signed with Inter Milan today after a last-minute deal with him. Inzaghi previously managed fellow Serie A side, Lazio. His contract was getting finished next month and was supposed to extend his contract but he signed for Inter Milan after Antonio Conte’s departure from the club.

Conte helped the team in winning their first Serie A title in almost eleven years after a great season, but a rift with the owners led to his departure which was regarding the selling of the top players of the clubs like Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku and focus more on youth talent.

Inzaghi took charge of Lazio in 2016 and have helped them in winning one Coppa Italia title and two Supercoppa Italiana trophies in this time. He also led the team to UEFA Champions League last season after finishing in the top 4 of Serie A.

Inter Milan have a very good squad which is growing with each game and they will be competing in the top European competition in the next season and Simone Inzaghi can help them in strengthening their squad and make the most of the situation that they are in, but if top players of the squad leave in the upcoming transfer window, it will lead to problems as they will need to find some quality replacements for them.
