Singham Again: An YouTube channel re-edits the trailer; fans call it better than the original

The teaser for the latest sequel of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe, Singham Again, was recently released. The ambitious crossover film brings together diverse characters from the world and includes almost half a dozen protagonists in the story. The trailer, which lasted over five minutes, included all of the heroes and their spectacular entries. Some observers thought that was overdone. Now, an amateur video editor has ‘fixed’ the trailer with a shorter re-edit, and fans are going crazy.

The YouTube channel The Quarter Ticket Show uploaded a re-edit of the video on 9 October, two days after the original trailer was released. At 1 minute and 14 seconds, it is more than 75% shorter than the caravan. It also lacks dialogue and nearly entirely excludes Kareena Kapoor’s character. It focusses primarily on Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone, as well as the action scenes.

The YouTube video’s thumbnail states, “I fixed the Singham Again trailer.” The description on YouTube reads, “Now it is the correct length trailers should be.

This re-edit received mostly good feedback in the comments section, with many suggesting that the filmmakers adopt this version instead. However, several questioned the re-edit, claiming it was too short and skipped over certain important aspects of the film.

The Singham Again trailer was posted last Monday (October 7) and has received 42 million views on YouTube. Rohit Shetty directed the picture, which stars Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff. It is expected to be released in theatres on November 1.
