Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again continues to perform well at the box office, crossing Rs 150 crore in just five days. The film had a strong Diwali weekend, earning Rs 120 crore in the first three days. Singham Again released alongside Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, but both films performed well without affecting each other’s collections.
Together, they set a new Diwali weekend record, beating the previous mark set by Animal and Sam Bahadur. On Monday, Singham Again saw a drop, making Rs 18 crore, down from Sunday’s Rs 35 crore. The numbers dipped further on Tuesday, earning Rs 13 crore.
Despite this mid-week fall, the film’s total collection stands at Rs 153.25 crore net in India, according to Sacnilk. As long as it holds onto double-digit earnings through the week, the movie is expected to stay strong at the box office.
In Maharashtra, Singham Again has outperformed Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, but the Kartik Aaryan-starrer is leading in some eastern regions and other markets. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has earned Rs 130 crore so far, trailing Singham Again by Rs 20 crore. With no major new releases coming soon, both films are likely to keep ruling the box office through the next weekend.
