
During an emergency landing at Aero Country Airport, a small propeller plane overshot Runway 17 and crashed into a vehicle. On Saturday, November 11, the accident happened in the Dallas suburb of McKinney, Texas, leaving one person injured and others unharmed. Bystander Jack Schneider captured video of the crash. Recalling the incident, Schneider stated, “I saw the airplane coming down the runway quickly I knew that he wasn’t gonna have time to stop.” He also added, “It was clearly going too fast, the tires were smoking,” as per WFAA-TV.
An Experimental Lancair IV-P Propjet (N751HP) received major damages, after it did a Runway excursion by overrunning Runway 17, and hit a Car (on Virginia Parkway) at Aero Country Airport (T31), McKinney, Texas.

During an emergency landing, the plane is seen slamming through a fence in the footage. It skidded onto the road ahead, crashing into a silver sedan. Medics arrived at the site shortly after the incident and sent the car’s driver, who had minor injuries, to the hospital, while the other passengers were uninjured. As per McKinney Fire Department, the flight originated in Midland, a Texas oilpatch city 330 miles west of Dallas.
The flight, according to an X user who also posted the video, was an “Experimental Lancair IV-P Propjet (N751HP).” As per BBC, the Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the cause of the crash.
