Snapchat is about to add a new section namely, Spotlight which allows users to view videos in vertical format. This new feature is likely to compete with Instagram and Tiktok. Spotlight resembles Reels, a short video feature on Instagram. For the time being this feature is restricted to US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and France, with many countries being added later.
