The siblings are nine years apart, and their paths often crossed only briefly. While she grew up in India, Saif studied in Winchester and later returned to join films. Soha, meanwhile, went to Oxford, leaving little overlap between their worlds. It was only after she moved to Mumbai that they truly became close.
Growing up, Saif was more of a mystery to her. She remembered his rebellious side, saying her parents often used him as an example of what not to do. He would return home with red or blonde hair, sneak out of windows at night, and change the entire energy of the house. “We were always excited when he came back, because you never knew what to expect,” she said with a laugh.
During this phase of reconnection, Saif introduced Soha to Kareena. Recalling the moment, she shared, “He just called me and said, ‘I wanted you to know my girlfriend is two years younger than you.’ That was my introduction.” Their bond with Kareena, she added, grew gradually over time with care and understanding.
The Khan–Pataudi family has always fascinated fans. Saif, son of Sharmila Tagore and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, is now married to Kareena Kapoor Khan. He shares two children with her, Taimur and Jehangir, and has two children, Sara and Ibrahim, with his former wife, Amrita Singh. Soha, married to actor Kunal Kemmu, is a mother to Inaaya Naumi Kemmu.
