Somnath temple to have 1,400 gold plated Kalash for decoration

The Somnath Temple is having 1,400 Kalash gold plated at the temple. They expect to make the spires on top of the Somnath temple golden by gold plating it. This change is expected to finish by the end of 2021. More than 500 people have made donations for the beautification of this sacred temple. The Trustee of the temple has also spoken about how they will set up lights to make the Kalash visible at night and how badly the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the temple and its devotees.
