Singer Sonu Nigam has announced a unique musical journey titled Satrangi Re, which will celebrate seven emotions of love, each represented by a different colour. The tour begins November 9 in Mumbai and will travel through Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Shillong, Ahmedabad, and Delhi-NCR.
The announcement came on Sonu’s birthday (July 30), after seven days of cryptic social media posts, each symbolising a different emotion through colour. Speaking about the concept, Sonu said, “It’s something I’ve never done before and I can’t wait to take the stage to showcase what we’ve planned for the audience.”
Produced by NR Talent & Event Management and BookMyShow, the tour aims to offer a new experience to audiences. “My musical journey of over 47 years has been so colourful… The theme for this tour is a mix of both – colours and love,” said the Padma Shri awardee.
Sonu shared that each concert will feature a specially curated setlist around a particular emotion, including rare tracks not usually performed live. “Satrangi Re 2025 is a way of celebrating our symbiotic bond of love through different colours,” he added.
