Sony shared, then quickly removed, a video showing Tom Hardy and Topher Grace fighting each other in a mash-up of scenes from their respective films, promoting rumours of a possible crossover in Venom 3.
After X user @SpiderMan_Newz saved and posted the 30-second video of “Tom Hardy’s Venom vs. Topher Grace’s Venom fight” before the studio quietly deleted it from public view, a now-deleted tweet from the official Sony Pictures Home Entertainment UK TikTok account is making the rounds on social media.

The video includes clips from the Venom films and Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3 to give the impression that the two Venoms are against one another. This has led some fans to speculate that the third Venom film will feature both Hardy’s Venom and Grace’s Venom, possibly leading to a multiverse adventure.
It is possible that this video is just a funny social media post that has viewers speculating a connection between its content and the threequel, particularly in light of the multiverse-spanning stories released in recent years. Sony officially announced Venom 3 at CinemaCon in April 2022, however, there is nothing to suggest that this video has any connection to that movie.
