Sophie Turner reveals letter that proves she, Joe Jonas planned their ‘forever home’ in England

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner announced their split on social media recently. They have been married for four years and they are now involved in a complicated legal and child custody battle. An alleged private letter that raises questions about Jonas’ previous statements in the ongoing divorce dispute has come to light following a slew of allegations from both sides.

Page Six obtained a letter allegedly written by Jonas on June 16, less than three months before he filed for divorce, in a stash of court documents just a day after the alleged Ring camera statements related to Turner and Jonas were leaked. Their decision to raise their daughters in England is proven in the letter. Jonas previously stated that he did not want their girls to be raised in the United Kingdom.

According to PageSix, Jonas penned to the seller, “When my wife and I decided we were going to spend more time in the UK and search for a permanent home, our daughter expressed three unwavering requirements: having chickens, a pony and a Wendy house. I have been completely charmed by the idea of dropping my children to school on the boat and being able to spend a leisurely afternoon cruising to the pub with friends on my very own boat.”

He added, “We could tell that your family have truly loved living here and we can envision our children growing up here and making this our forever home. I really think Sophie and I will be able to look after [redacted names] and for many years pay homage to the magic you have created here.”

Jonas’s letter convinced the seller to accept their deal and on July 7, two months prior to their split, they put down a 10 per cent deposit of £750,000 ($914,130). Turner stated that the family’s belongings had been shipped to the United Kingdom between May 5 and July 31. Her argument is that because they are no longer residents of Miami, the city’s court should not have jurisdiction over the case.
