Samsung Electronics has collaborated with the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam to showcase a curated selection from its modern and contemporary art collection on the Samsung Art Store. This partnership allows art enthusiasts to explore significant works from the museum’s collection in their own homes.
The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam is renowned for its connection to movements like De Stijl and its emphasis on modern art and design. The museum’s collection features pieces characterized by vibrant colors, geometric shapes, and bold compositions, elements that continue to influence contemporary interior and object design.
Among the highlights available on the Samsung Art Store is “The Parakeet and the Mermaid” by Henri Matisse. Other notable works include pieces by Kazimir Malevich, Vincent van Gogh, Paul Cézanne, Claude Monet, and Jan Toorop, showcasing the diversity of the Stedelijk’s modern European collection.
The inclusion of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam in the Samsung Art Store lineup places it alongside other prestigious institutions like The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, and Tate. This partnership also extends to a wider array of editorial, photographic, and design-focused brands, enhancing the store’s offerings.
