The leading Solar EPC contractor, Sterling and Wilson Solar Ltd. (SWSL) has announced the appointment of Amit Jain as Global CEO in a BSE filing. His predecessor Bikesh Ogra relinquished the position with effect from May 31, 2021. Nevertheless, he will continue as a director on the board of the Indian multinational company.
Previously, since January 2019, Jain was Sterling and Wilson Solar Ltd.’s Country Head for the US and Australia. His role has been significant in developing the US and Australia as the company’s key markets. His responsibilities will now include business development, market growth and the P&L for SWSL that has its operations in more than 25 countries. The new Global CEO will continue to operate from Dubai, UAE.

Jain holds an experience of over 29 years in the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) sector with various industries like renewable energy, oil & gas, chemical/process plants, power transmission and telecom infrastructure.
