The National Entrance Screening Test(NEST) 2021 exam has been postponed in view of the Covid-19 situation across the country and the uncertainty created by the same. The last date to get registered for sitting in the exam has also been extended to July 15 2021. A new date for the examination will be announced soon and a sufficient notice period will be given to the students for preparing for the exam.
It may be recalled that the NEST exam was earlier supposed to be held on June 14. The process for getting registered had started earlier this year on 24 February while the last date for getting registered was June 7. However, now both the registration and the examination dates have been postponed due to the spread of Coronavirus. The exam is generally held in two sessions- the first one from 9 am to 12:30 pm while the second session happens between 2:30 pm and 6 pm.
Interested candidates who have still not applied for the NEST examination can do the same by going to the official website: nestexam.in and apply till July 15.
The National Entrance Screening Test is an eligibility exam conducted for students who want to take admission to the National Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhubaneswar & University of Mumbai- Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences, Mumbai. Every year, the exam is conducted across the country in about 90 cities.
