Jaat is the next film from Telugu director Gopichand Malineni and Bollywood actor Sunny Deol. On October 19, Sunny unveiled the title and debuted his first look at the film on his birthday.
The action-packed film will be both the filmmaker and actor’s first north-south collaboration. Director Gopichand shared a statement on Sunny’s birthday, “Happy Birthday Action Superstar @iamsunnydeol Ji. Honoured to be working with you and present you as #JAAT. Thank you for this once in a lifetime opportunity. #SDGM is #JAAT. MASS FEAST LOADING.”
Apart from this, Sunny also revealed the poster of Jaat, “Introducing the man with national permit for MASSIVE ACTION.”
According to a press release issued by the film’s team, the picture is billed as a high-octane, larger-than-life actioner. Fans of Sunny and Gopichand were’ready for the experience’ that is guaranteed to be Jaat, based on the comments left under their posts.
“Blockbuster loading hbd sunny,” said one fan, while another added, “Massive!! “Can’t wait to see your Punch dialogues on the big screen.” One Gopichand fan wrote, “I’m ready for this film,” while another was ‘excited’.
People on Reddit, however, were not as happy as supporters, with several pointing out the poster’s absurdity. “Is that a fan?” Wow. “I am truly blown away,” said one person. “I cei-l what you phenned there.” joked another.
In addition to TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory, Jaat is produced by Mythri Movie Makers’ Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar. Regina Cassandra, Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, and Randeep Hooda will also play important parts. The soundtrack for the movie is being composed by Thaman S.
Avinash Kolla is the production designer, Naveen Nooli is the editor, and Rishi Punjabi is the cinematographer. The action choreographers are Venkat, Ram Laxman, Anl Arasu, and Peter Hein. Balakrishna recently visited the Hyderabad sets where the movie is currently being filmed.
