Sunshine Global Agro and its Directors are ordered by SEBI the attachment of bank and demat accounts and to recover dues of over Rs.1 crore. SEBI took the recovery initiative after Sunshine Global failed to pay the fine Rs.1 crore imposed on them by SEBI in March 2019.
Sunshine Global Agro came under the radar after they gained 38 crore from 39,290 investors through various unregistered collective investment schemes. Pending dues accumulate to 1.09 crore of initial penalty amount, interest and recovery cost.
