The beloved superhero is getting a makeover that includes a brand-new film and a new suit. Superman’s adventures on the big screen will now begin again. First things first: It’s just Superman now, not Superman: Legacy. Either way, it’s a fitting title for the Man of Steel’s huge cinematic return. James Gunn is directing the upcoming Superman movie, so fans are sure it will be a visual spectacle with a huge budget. “When I finished the first draft of the script, I called the film Superman: Legacy.” He added, “By the time I locked the final draft, it was clear the title was SUPERMAN,” Gunn wrote on Instagram.

He also wrote, “Overjoyed to be announcing the start of principal photography on SUPERMAN today, February 29, which just so happens to be – coincidentally and unplanned – Superman’s birthday.”
Fans are excited over the logo after seeing a glimpse of the outfit on Instagram. The new look is similar to Superman from DC Comics from the classic Mark Waid and Alex Ross epic, Kingdom Come, which takes place in a parallel future world.
