After SC’s order, General Tushar Mehta has confirmed that the proceedings for demolition of the four illegal religious structures on public land of Haridwar is in place and they will be takedown by 31st of May. An intervention application filed by ABAP stated not to demolish the structures but it was waved off by the three-judge bench since the structures are built on land belonging to the Irrigation Department. The following structures will be demolished- Nirmohi Akhada- Beragi Camp, Nirmani Adi Akhada, Bhaiyadas Digamber Akhada and Niranjani Akhada Gangeshwar.
