Swapped presidency with Indonesia,  India now ready to host G20 summit in 2023

India will now host the G20 summit in 2023 instead of 2022. This was made possible by Indonesia agreeing to swap the group’s presidency. This plan was considered only by letting Indonesia chair the ASEAN Association of Southeast Asian Nations in 2023. The Indonesian foreign minister said “India also has had the same request to change the G2 presidency in 2023.
