Actor Taapsee Pannu has firmly dismissed recent rumours suggesting that she has moved abroad after her marriage to badminton player Mathias Boe. The actor, known for her candid nature, took to Instagram to clarify that she is very much in Mumbai, enjoying her regular life.
Reacting to a report that claimed she had left India to settle overseas, Taapsee reshared the post on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “Can there be a less false and less sensational headline!!!??? Ya phir headline galat ho ya sahi aap tak ayegi ‘sabse tez’ portal. Maybe slow down and do a little bit of research…..???” She further added a humorous note saying, “PS – wondering WTF is this while munching my dosa in this humid, hot Mumbai morning.”
The actor’s quick response put all speculation to rest. Taapsee, who tied the knot with Mathias Boe in 2024, has often spoken about balancing life between India and Denmark. She previously mentioned that Mathias’s parents live with them and that their shared home reflects “the most Indian thing” she brought into their lives living together as one family.
Talking about her work schedule, Taapsee shared that she spends time in Denmark mostly during summer and returns to India once the monsoon ends. The actor will next be seen in Gandhari, a revenge drama directed by Devashish Makhija and backed by Kanika Dhillon’s Katha Pictures, set to premiere on Netflix. She was last seen in Khel Khel Mein alongside Akshay Kumar and Vaani Kapoor.
