The season’s first cyclone is expected to pass by Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts on the afternoon of 25th of November. Because of the storm coming in, southern parts of India will see heavy rainfall 23rd December onwards. Thunderstom will take place in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal between 24th-26th November and over Andhra Pradesh, Payalseema and Telangana on 25th and 26th of November. The storms likely to concentrate on Bay of Bengal depression within 24 hours and further intensify into a cyclone during consequent 24 hours.
