Tamilnadu likely to witness another cyclone on December 2

IMD confirmed, formation of another cyclonic storm by December 2 impacting South Tamilnadu and Kerala coasts. “It’s likely to intensify further into a deep depression during the next 24 hours. It is also likely to intensify further into a cyclonic storm. It’s likely to move west-northwestwards and cross the Sri Lanka coast around the evening of December 2,” the IMD said in an official bulletin.  A warning has been issued to fishermen pertaining to them to stay away from southeast and adjoining southwest Bay of Bengal from December 1st night.
