Tata Motors Ltd and Marcopolo S.A. involved in the joint venture of the bus and coach making are currently in a share purchase agreement. The Tata Marcopolo is worth a total of Rs. 170 crore out of which Marcopolo holds 49% of shares. Marcopolo S.A is stepping out of the big leagues and has offered to sell its 49% shareholding for Rs. 99.96 crore. Tata has decided to purchase the shares from Marcopolo and is willing to pay Rs. 99.96 crore for it.
