Tere Ishk Mein box office: Dhanush–Kriti Sanon starrer collects ₹66 crore worldwide in its first weekend

On its third day at the Indian box office, Tere Ishk Mein hopes to make about Rs. 17.50 crore nett. The total for the weekend was an amazing Rs. 48 crore nett. From Saturday to Sunday, the movie’s box office receipts increased by about 10%, which is not too much but still quite respectable given that it was already doing well.

Although there wasn’t much increase throughout the weekend, the movie could afford it given its strong opening. The Tamil dubbed version of the movie also brought in about Rs. 2 crore nett, for a total weekend total of Rs. 50 crore nett. Overseas markets contributed an additional Rs. 6 crore (USD 675K), for a global opening weekend totalling about Rs. 66 crore.

The movie’s success has been guaranteed by the weekend business. There were concerns about a potential decline during the weekend because of the film’s uneven reception. However, the movie not only averted a decline but also saw a slight increase. Depending on how well it does on Monday, it may upgrade to an HIT. The movie will be on course to become a hit if it makes more than Rs. 6 crore nett tomorrow.

Three unexpected hit songs in the musical love tale genre have been released this year, including the major hit Saiyaara. They were solely motivated by popular music and neither of them bragged about their face worth.

Even though there are two well-known actors in the starring roles of this movie, they are not celebrities, therefore the music is still the main attraction. It is impossible to exaggerate the significance of music in Hindi cinema. A decline in music quality can also be partially blamed for the decline in business during the past ten or so years. It is appropriate that music is spearheading the comeback during difficult circumstances, providing the business with a chance to retrain and adjust.
