On its second day at the Indian box office, Tere Ishk Mein is having yet another fantastic day. The Dhanush and Kriti Sanon film is expected to make between Rs. 15 and Rs. 15.50 crore nett on Saturday, according to early estimates. Its two-day running total now stands at more than Rs. 30 crore nett. The movie may make between Rs. 45 and Rs. 47 crore in its first weekend, depending on the kind of increase it receives on Sunday.
In just two days, the Tamil-dubbed version had earned an additional Rs. 1.50 crore nett. With a slight increase, the business on Saturday was essentially same from Friday. A second day dip is always possible for a movie that has a strong opening. Tere Ishk Mein has performed admirably in that regard, not only avoiding a decline but even achieving modest growth—especially considering the lacklustre reception.
Nevertheless, the movie may have developed farther, and the reaction might have prevented it from doing so. Much of the film’s heavy lifting has already been completed by the compelling opener. It will undoubtedly be a success; how well it holds on Monday will determine whether it becomes an HIT. All eyes are now on Monday to see how well the movie holds up, but if it had demonstrated a strong growth today, it would have virtually assured the HIT verdict.
