Thaai Kizhavi, which stars Radhikaa Sarathkumar, is nearing the end of its theatrical run. The Tamil film increased Rs. 1 crore to its total in its fifth weekend, after surpassing Rs. 60 crore in its fourth week. The comic film, directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, grossed Rs. 62.50 crore by the end of its fifth weekend, or 31 days at the Indian box office.
The comic drama, produced by Sivakarthikeyan Productions, is expected to earn between Rs. 63 crore and Rs. 65 crore throughout its theatrical run, depending on how long it stays in theaters. Nonetheless, the film was a huge commercial success.
Thaai Kizhavi performed best in its home state, grossing approximately Rs. 56.50 crore. Outside of its home market, the film grossed Rs. 4.25 crore in Karnataka, with the rest of India contributing roughly Rs. 1.75 crore. The film, starring Radhika Sarathkumar, is set to be released digitally soon. It will be interesting to observe how the crowd responds on the OTT platform.
