Thamma box office collection day 10: Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna’s film remains steady with ₹108 crore total

On October 21, Aditya Sarpotdar’s Diwali film Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, was released in cinemas. Since then, the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe’s fifth movie has done well, earning more than ₹100 crore in India alone. Thamma’s entire domestic haul to date is

₹108.25 crore, with an estimated ₹3.25 crore net in India on Thursday, according to trade website Sacnilk. The movie made ₹24 crore at the beginning, ₹55.6 crore in three days, and ₹95.6 crore by the seventh day. On Tuesday, the movie did well, grossing ₹5.75 crore. However, on Wednesday, it only made ₹3.65 crore. The film has previously done better than previous entries in the franchise, but Stree 2’s 597.99 crore domestic receipts appear to be superior.

Following the releases of Stree (2018), Bhediya (2022), Munjya (2024), and Stree 2 (2024), Thamma is produced under the Maddock Films label. In it, a journalist named Alok (played by Ayushmann) meets a mystery woman named Tadaka (played by Rashmika) in the woods.

She gives him an introduction to the betal (vampiric) world. Following Thamma, Bhediya 2, which stars Varun Dhawan and Shakti Shalini and features Aneet Padda, will broaden the world.
