The Ba***ds of Bollywood actor Lakshya quit ₹15,000-a-day job to chase film dreams

Actor Lakshya, who gained fame with Kill and The Ba***ds of Bollywood, once claimed that he left a job paying ₹15,000 a day to pursue a career in movies. The actor also recalled his father, Romesh Lalwani, informing him that his monthly income was the same as Lakshya’s daily salary in an interview with Ranveer Allahbadia on his YouTube channel last year.

Ranveer claimed on the show that he met Ramesh Taurani, a film producer, who advised him to ask Lakshya, where he “got the guts to quit his job paying ₹30 lakh per month” and make film choices. Lakshya had responded, “I’m not sure. The system in TV is of the day. We receive ₹15,000, ₹20,000, and ₹25,000 in wages each day. I had a good pricing back then.

Lakshya talked about how his show Porus was on the verge of ending. “I called my father at that moment and informed him that Porus was coming to an end. They’re paying me this amount every day for another concert. ‘Take it, what’s the problem?’ remarked my middle-class father, who is a father. My monthly pay is equal to the amount you make each day. “All right, what’s wrong?” he continued.

Lakshya featured in Warrior High, Adhuri Kahaani Hamari, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, and Porus before pursuing a career in movies. Kill was his first Bollywood flick. In addition to Raghav Juyal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chhaya, Tanya Maniktala, and Abhishek Chauhan, the film was directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment. The extremely violent movie was a global hit.

Lakshya last appeared in The Ba***ds of Bollywood, his first online series. In addition to Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambba, Anya Singh, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, and Manish Chaudhari, it was directed by Aryan Khan, who was making his directorial debut for Netflix.
