The Blacklist Season 10: Release Date, Plot and everything we know so far

The Blacklist is an American crime thriller television series. It is created by Jon Bokenkamp. Initially, the series premiered on NBC on September 23, 2013. Apparently, the plotline of the show follows Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader), a former U.S. Navy officer turned high-profile criminal who voluntarily surrenders to the FBI after eluding capture for decades. He tells the FBI that he has a list of the most dangerous criminals in the world that he has compiled over the years and that he is willing to inform on their operations in exchange for immunity from prosecution on condition he works exclusively with rookie FBI criminal profiler Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone), to whom he seemingly has no connection.

Moreover, the show was run up to 9 seasons. Each season has received positive reviews. Earlier, in February, 2022, the show was renewed all over again for a tenth season. If you are one of the fans of the show wondering about more details about the upcoming season, then you are at the right place.

Following are all the details that we know about The Blacklist Season 10 so far.

The Blacklist Season 10: Release Date

According to the latest updates and the reports, the network has recently announced the release date of the 10th season. The Blacklist Season 10 is all set to premiere on February 26, 2023.

The Blacklist Season 10: Plot

Reports claim that the plotline was renewed for the season 9 of the series. However, the plotline of the upcoming season is still kept under the wraps. Thanks to the fans and their theories as they speculate that the season nine finale gave fans a pretty good idea of the direction it will take.

Moreover, if we recap the previous season finale, we witnessed that Red’s seemingly loyal advisor Marvin Gerard (Fisher Stevens) was the one responsible for the death of his beloved Elizabeth (Megan Boone). However, even after being exposed and his subsequent death, he left one last parting gift, much to the detriment of Red. When crossing paths with him in prison, Marvin told Wujing (Chin Han), one of the very first Blacklisters from season one, that he was caught because Red and the FBI were working together, before handing him a list of others Red helped put away.

Now, Wujing is out for vengeance, armed with a list of other Blacklisters whom he plans to recruit to hunt down and eliminate Red with him. Just as Red’s quest for revenge comes to an end, it appears as though he’ll be on the receiving it come season 10.
