The ‘Dilbert’ cartoonist has a chilling drone theory

There’s been a growing mystery in New Jersey with numerous drone sightings, sparking significant public concern. Theories about their purpose have been circulating, and Marjorie Taylor Greene has taken to amplifying one of these theories, which was originally proposed by Scott Adams, the creator of Dilbert. His theory suggests that the U.S. is preparing for war and that the government is training an overwhelming number of drone pilots at night to get ready for “wars” that will be fought using drones. According to Adams, the drones are so reliable that they can be used in urban areas without risk of crashing, signaling that a military conflict might be on the horizon.

Greene, ever the conspiracy enthusiast, shared this theory with her followers, stating that it could be true and that the government needs to come clean with the public about what is really going on. This remark is rather ironic coming from Greene, as she is a member of the government herself. As a congresswoman, she has the ability to investigate security matters directly but instead chooses to publicly speculate, possibly for political points.

Her comments were widely criticized, with many pointing out that if she’s truly concerned, she could easily ask questions within her role as a representative, instead of using her platform to spread unfounded theories. Others, like Twitter user Jack Ross, have called out her apparent ignorance, suggesting that Greene might be more interested in pandering to her base than actually doing her job.

Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to share a humorous, AI-generated image poking fun at former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie in connection to the drone issue, showing him eating McDonald’s while drones deliver food.

While Greene’s comments and Trump’s jokes have fueled much of the chatter, the drone sightings themselves remain unexplained, with no clear answers emerging about their origin or purpose. This has added to the uncertainty and speculation, though Greene’s handling of the situation has done little to quell concerns or clarify the matter.
