About
The documentary The Final: Attack on Wembley chronicles how, on July 11, 2021, the England men’s football team played Italy in the European Championships at Wembley, reaching their first cup final since 1966. With England’s team playing so well, everyone in the country hoped and prayed that football would finally “come home.” Nevertheless, England’s supporters lost control after spending so much time under lockdown due to the COVID outbreak, resulting in mayhem in the city and at the stadium. With all eyes on Wembley, thousands of ticketless supporters pushed their way inside the stadium, bringing humiliation to their country and embarrassing England.
