One of the best names in contemporary horror is Mike Flanagan. For the past ten years, the writer-director has given horror fans goosebumps with films like The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass, and Doctor Sleep. With the upcoming Halloween season, Flanagan is set to terrify us on Netflix one last time with his rendition of The Fall of the House of Usher. The eerie series, which is based on the writings of the great author Edgar Allan Poe, is scheduled to premiere in October, and the new series poster provides viewers a look at Usher’s star-studded cast.
Description of the Poster
The graphic displays a horrifying family photo stained with blood. Henry Thomas, Rahul Kohli, Kate Siegel, T’Nia Miller, Samantha Sloyan, Bruce Greenwood, Sauriyan Sapkota, and Mary McDonnell are among the cast members who frequently appear in Flanagan episodes. A mysterious person wearing a black dress, crimson hooded robe and unsettling mask is seen leaving the heartbreaking photograph. The extensive cast that includes Usher, meanwhile, cannot fit on this poster. Among others, the series features Mark Hamill, Carl Lumbly, Willa Fitzgerald, Robert Longstreet, and Carla Gugino. The Fall of the House of Usher has been reimagined numerous times, most notably in the 1960 Vincent Price film, but Flanagan will draw on many of Poe’s other well-known works to create his own version.
Release Date
