The Revolutionaries Teaser shows Bhuvan Bam, Rohit Saraf in intense freedom fightt

On Thursday, Prime Video unveiled a preview for the next period drama. Prime Video posted the over-one-minute footage on its YouTube channel. The video featured the characters Pratibha Ranta, Rohit Saraf, Bhuvan Bam, and Gurfateh Pirzada battling alongside the British for “justice, liberty, and freedom.”

The series centers on the war against the British in 1912, several years after the Indian revolt of 1857. The film illustrates how Pratibha Ranta, Rohit Saraf, Bhuvan Bam, and Gurfateh Pirzada prepare to face the British. The quick video is filled with action moments. The teaser was posted with the caption,

“Born in the shadow of 1857’s failure, four young bloods driven by a mad passion for justice, liberty and freedom, set out to challenge the British Raj, with guns in their hands and rebellion in their hearts, they awaken a sleeping nation, and set out to do the unthinkable.”

Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani co-produced The Revolutionaries. The show will be directed by Nikkhil Advani, and its release date has yet to be confirmed. It will be available on the platform this year. Sanjeev Sanyal’s book The Revolutionaries: The Other Story Of How India Won Its Freedom serves as the basis for this adaption. Jason Shah appears in the show as well.

The Revolutionaries concentrates on the liberation warriors Rash Behari Bose, Sachindranath Sanyal, and Kartar Singh Sarabha. The film was shot in a variety of places in India, including Mumbai, Amritsar, Varanasi, Dehradun, and more. Earlier this year, Nikhil discussed the show with news agency PTI.

Nikkhil’s second drama series, The Revoluntaries, is based on India’s freedom movement. The last film I directed was Freedom At Midnight. It was released in 2024.
