On Saturday, They Call Him OG remained stable, increasing its total by about Rs. 24 crore. In India, this raised the three-day total to Rs. 135 crore. With 190 crore rupees and USD 6.20 million (Rs. 55 crore) from foreign markets, the movie is slowly approaching the 200 crore milestone globally.
With a small contribution from Karnataka and the rest of India, the domestic box office is dominated by Telugu states. On Saturday, the movie was down in some Telugu state centers and up in others, with an overall evening performance. Growth at the national level resulted from some gains made by Karnataka and the rest of India.
Stability at such high levels is likewise admirable, even though additional increase in the Telugu states would have been preferable. Despite a strong start, the movie has held up nicely and did not decline on Saturday, which is always a risk. In the Telugu states, the three-day total is Rs. 115 crore.
It might approach Rs. 140 crore for the long weekend if Sunday grows well. That will keep it on course to earn at least Rs. 200 crore in the end, which would be a satisfactory conclusion for the movie.
