New Zealand Duo Ross Taylor and Tim Southee crashed into an Indian fan for a quick selfie with both of them. However, New Zealand’s lethal right-arm seamer Tim Southee was asked a witty question by the Indian fan about will he be taking Virat’s wicket in the upcoming World Test Championship to which Southee laughed out saying “it will be nice”.

India and New Zealand will fight for the title of World Test Championship in South Hampton starting from June 18. New Zealand who has already arrived in the UK will be playing a two-match Test series against England before the WTC.
India in recent years has clearly been dominated by the Kiwis. They first defeated strong-looking India in the semi-finals of the ICC ODI Men’s World Cup and later whitewashed India in a Test series in 2020. It was one of the most disastrous series for India as well as for King Kohli.
However, India stands at the top of the ICC Test Team Rankings leading by just one point keeping them ahead of New Zealand. Ravi Shastri, the Indian Coach feels the boys are ready and will give their best. Similarly, Indian bowling coach Bharat Arun and fielding coach R Sridhar believe that with so much experience with the Indian players it won’t be difficult to quickly read and adjust to the required situation and perform the best.
