The English actor Tom Holland announces a year-long break after working on a tough series.
“The Spider-Man: No Way Home” actor took a break after working on the OTT show “The Crowded Room”. There, he played the role of Danny Sullivan. The series explores the homeliest and most inspirational tales of people who have struggled with themselves and fought with mental illness. It’s a 10-episode limited series about a man who is arrested following his involvement in a New York City shooting in 1979. The show will stream on Apple TV+.

As per the sources, Tom played a double role—as an actor as well as a producer. He quoted, “We were exploring certain emotions that I have definitely never experienced before. And then, on top of that, being a producer and dealing with the day-to-day problems that come with any film set just added that extra level of pressure. I’m now taking a year off, and that is a result of how difficult this show was.”
Apart from this, Tom also added how the series made him tired. He said, “The show did break me. There did come a time where it was sort of like, ‘I need to have a break’. I am excited to see how it turns out, and I feel like our hard work wasn’t in vain.”
The series will release its first three episodes on June 9, and it will release one episode a week every Friday until July 29.
