Bara Imambara aslo known as the Asif Mosque is located in Lucknow built by the Nawab of Awadh- Asaf Ud Daula. This architect was build as a relief measure by providing employment  to the people during the time of Famine. Bara Imambara is one of the most expensive construction in India. The architects used to build the Imambara during the day & the noblemen’s of the city used to destruct the construction at night. This process of Construction & Destruction guaranteed the employment to the people. The Imambara also holds a Labyrinth.
