Evans has established himself as a powerful performer in drama films, comedies, science fiction films, and everything in between before, during, and after his ten-year run in the MCU. The Marvel movies may have made him famous, but it is by no means the whole scope of what he is capable of.
The Boston-born actor has been wowing audiences and reviewers with his performances for the past 20 years. Outside of Marvel, he frequently appears in large ensemble productions with actors like Daniel Craig and Cillian Murphy. In addition, many people believe he is superior to Pratt, Pine, and Hemsworth as Chris in Hollywood.
Scott Pilgrim vs The World (2010)

Chris Evans served as Hollywood’s go-to “eyebrow man” prior to Will Poulter. Lucas Lee’s furrowed brows and pout were only a small portion of Evans’ absolutely comic performance.
He could have found Lucas Lee’s reputation as a fading, sell-out action movie star to be a little too true considering that he hadn’t yet made his MCU debut at the time of filming.
Snowpiercer (2014)

Throughout his whole career, Korean director Bong Joon-ho has sent out hit after hit, and Snowpiercer, his first English-language picture, is no different.
The post-apocalyptic thriller routinely made lists of the year’s finest films, and Chris Evans received high accolades for playing the lead role. Evans is the one aspect of the movie that never wavers or falters, according to one review.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)

With Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) playing the titular Marvel villain, The Winter Soldier brilliantly expands on the characteristics and connections that Rogers created in the previous film, such as his friendship with Barnes.
Evans is excellent at displaying some peculiarities that clearly indicate that Rogers is not entirely from this period, even if Rogers has had some time to adjust to his new circumstances at this point.
Knives Out (2021)

It was exciting to see Evans take on a more evil character after watching him for ten years as our All-American hero, and he excelled in the murder mystery caper Knives Out.
Knives Out was a critical and financial success all around with a fantastic screenplay, actors, and plot, but special praise must go to Evans and his cable knitwear.
Avengers: Endgame (2019)

While Evans did a fantastic job as Bearded Cap in Infinity War, there is something different about Endgame. As it was his last appearance as the part, he made sure to go out on a high note and leave the audience with fond memories of him as Steve.
Who could ever forget the time Steve Rogers lifted the Hammer of Thor to prove that he, too, was deserving of lifting Mjölnir?
